The extract below is just a sample which has been edited for viewing by prospective owners. The actual gallery contained a much fuller story and twice as many photos.

We hope over time to build up groups of pictures for you all to enjoy. The first group of photos were taken at Newcastle when we had our first 2 horses, Attacca and Miss Havisham, running on the same card. If you are also a happy snapper please do send us any photos you would like to see appearing in this section, just e-mail them to us at info@highmoorracing.info, and we will do our best to accommodate them.

This page is only accessable by our owners but if there are any photos of you which you would prefer not to see on the site just let us know and we will remove them immediately.

We start our selection with Miss Havisham in the pre-parade ring being led out by John's senior work rider 'Smiler' Mansell and you will see by the photo on the right why he has that 'nickname'!

Phillip takes his final instructions from John before mounting up. Chris appears to be listening intently although she is probably more interested in how young Phillip looks! Once Phillip is aboard Smiler leads Miss Havisham from the ring.

Smiler gives Miss Havisham a few more turns to give her adoring owners the chance to see her before he takes her back to the stables for a well earned rest. Later in the day Attacca comes into the pre-parade ring led this time by a smiling Terri who is now fully recovered from the injuries she sustained from the same horse who incapacitated John at Ripon last month.

Attacca's jockey, Robert Winston, arrives in the parade ring. Just time to give young Joe an autograph before meeting the owners and getting his final instructions from John.

It was not to be Attacca's day and a very disconsulate Robert Winston leaves the unsaddling area. Attacca looks fine though, as does Terri, so he will have his day on another occasion!

Because Robert reported that he felt there was a problem with Attacca a couple of furlongs out ,which led him to virtually pulling the horse up, a very concerned John has a good look before sending the horse to be thoroughly checked out and scoped by the course Vet. Final picture for the day shows Peter, John and Dave reflecting on the days events before John went to check on both horses back at the stables.

Thankfully all was well with Attacca and both him and Miss Havisham returned to their stables in Middleham for a well earned rest.
